About Us

I lost two very important people in my family.

My younger sister, only 35, passed away from a degenerative illness.

I then lost my father later in his life, 77, to Alzheimer’s, a brutal disease.

At their respective funerals, I wished that they had a chance to hear all the wonderful comments spoken about them, and to share in the resounding love shown by all.

This has led me to the concept of a Living Funeral Farewell Celebration.

Holding an event like this offers closure, and lasting positive memories.

I only wish I had been able to do this for my Father and Sister.

They are how we pay respect to those who have passed.

How to create a Living Funeral

We will work with you to create and customise an event that is perfect for you.

Some popular ideas include:

Reading Notes that express love and appreciation and the impact that this person has had on people.
Showcasing any hobbies or talents the person might have (for example, art work, craft work, images of specific hobbies)
Symbolic gestures – (for example – releasing pigeons, releasing balloons, lighting candles, planting a small tree to represent ongoing memories through the growth of the tree)
Highlight reel showing images and videos taken over the years of this person.

We will meet with you to learn more about what is important to you, bringing 28 years of event planning experience to your Living Funeral.

As producers , we will source whatever you need, from venues, music, food, MC, handling invitations or any other special requirements to provide you with a seamless day of beautiful memories.

We can also arrange a video or photo book of your event.

Once we have worked together with you and your loved one on how to create the perfect Farewell Celebration, we will present you with a quote.
